Swamp Fox

          The name of the play is The Legend of the Swamp Fox: The Story of General Francis Marion.

           We hope to utilize city property in Georgetown, South Carolina and transform it into an outdoor amphitheater in the same design as Horn of the West in Boone, NC or Unto These Hills in Cherokee, NC or The Lost Colony in Roanoke, NC.

           The story of Francis Marion is fascinating and brings in a variety of characters. From high level British, and revolutionary figures to treaties with local Indians, this story is just begging to be told. It helps that General Marion operated in the area of Georgetown, Kingstree, and Florence.
